How to buy crypto, deposit it, and how non-custodial keys work — even if this is your first time.
Every Insider wallet is non-custodial. The private key is generated on your device on wallet creation, or supplied by you on import. It never leaves your control, and it is what signs every bundle.
How much do you need?
The minimum to deploy is $200, in any supported asset on any supported chain. That balance is yours: it is the capital the engine trades with, it never leaves your wallet, and it is not a fee or a subscription. On top of it, keep a little native coin (ETH, BNB, or SOL) for gas.
Never bought crypto before? Start here
You need ETH, BNB, or SOL to fund the engine, and there are two easy ways to get it. Neither takes more than a few minutes.
Option A — buy on an exchange
Create an account on any major exchange — Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, OKX, Kraken, Bitget, KuCoin, or Crypto.com — and buy ETH, BNB, or SOL with a card or bank transfer. Then use the exchange's Withdraw / Send function to move it to your Insider deposit address (shown under /wallet in the bot).
Option B — buy inside a wallet app
MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Rabby (for ETH, Base, BNB Chain) or Phantom and Solflare (for Solana) all have a built-in Buy button backed by card providers like MoonPay, Transak, or Ramp. Buy there, then send to your Insider address — or simply import that wallet's key into Insider and skip the transfer.
Pick the RIGHT network
This is the one step that matters most. When withdrawing, the exchange asks which network to use: choose Ethereum (ERC20) for ETH, Base for Base, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) for BNB, Solana for SOL. Sending on the wrong network can lose the funds.
Test small first
First time sending to a new address? Send a small amount, confirm it lands in /wallet, then send the rest. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
ON RECORD
Your Insider deposit addresses are always in the bot under /wallet — tap an address to copy it. Deposits land in your own wallet, not on our servers.
One address per stack
You get a single EVM address that works across Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood, plus a separate Solana address. Send the right asset on the right network to the matching address.
Native coin for gas
Bundles cost gas. Keep a small buffer of the network's native coin (ETH, BNB, or SOL) so the engine can always submit — an ERC20 or SPL position can't be moved without it.
ON RECORD
If a token lands on a wallet with no native gas, Insider parks it and drains it automatically the moment gas arrives, no manual step required.
Exporting your key
You can reveal or export your private key at any time from the wallet menu. Because Insider is non-custodial, that key is the single source of truth for your funds. Store it offline and never share it — anyone holding the key holds the funds.
